On July 11th, Another Development Foundation participated online at the NATO Peace Counter Summit organized by the No To War – No to NATO Network.

First part
What does the NATO summit mean for our vision and our movement? How do we build alternatives to NATO and war in the new context?
Our vision: common security through cooperation; disarmament and peace through coalition building.

Second part
Our movement: how we come together in solidarity, expand our alliances, and work to overcome the NATO war machine.
Short presentations by and discussions with:
- Ann Wright, a retired U.S. Army Colonel and former U.S. State Department diplomat who famously resigned in March 2003 in direct opposition to the impending Iraq War. Since her resignation, she has become a globally recognized peace activist, author, and frequent lecturer on anti-militarism.
- Francis Daehon Lee, Board Member of IPB in 2025, Professor for Peace Studies at SungKongHoe University, Ritsumeikan University and the International University of Japan.
- Kathy Kelly, Board President, World BEYOND War
- Pablo Ruiz, part of the Observatory for the Closure of the School of the Americas in Chile, and a close contact of the IPB in Latin America.
- Sean Conner, appointed Executive Director of IPB in October 2022
- Ulla Klötzer, Member of World BEYOND War´s Advisory Board
