The international campaign ”Not Our Story – Change It!” has now been launched. The day decided for the launch was The Day of the African Child, June 16th 2019 which emphasized the need of putting the rights of children first. As mentioned earlier in the flow of news from Another Development Foundation, this campaign is developed in the framework of an eigh-country partnership with a commitment for working against gender-based violence through creative media, and with special attention of working for a future free from gender-based violence – for our children, and for future generations. The campaign has been launched simultaneously in the partner countries; Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Somaliland, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia and Sweden. The campaign has been made visible through various social media platforms, radio, news magazines and TV. The project is funded by Swedish Institute through the Creative Force Program. The project is coordinated by ADEP – Another Development Perspective Ltd, Sweden and CASDA – Cooperation Arena for Sustainable Development in Africa, Kenya. Another Development Foundation are represented by the founders, members of the board and advisors. At this webpage, the Not Our Story.
