Once again, Another Development Foundation organizes an annual event on and for nonviolence in the City of Umeå. The event will be carried out October 17th-18th and in partnership with a number of other organizations; Swedish Fellowship for Reconcilliation, Study Association Bilda, the Swedish section of Women´s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), Härnösands People´s High School, Umeå Sami Association (Såhkie), Västerbotten Centre for Human Rights (Rättighetscentrum Västerbotten), Study Association Studiefrämjandet, Västerbottens museum, Centre for Sami Studies and Department of Political Science, Umeå University.

The event will take place at a Sami Cultural Centre (Tráhppie), Västerbottens museum, and the Cultural Centre Klossen.

The event will focus on how citizens, movements, organizations and public institutions can and need to react and act in relation to autocratization without violence and against violence, a trend that has tremendous impact on people and on international relations.
