A Memorandum of Understanding between Another Development Foundation and Centro de Alternativas al Desarollo (CEALDES) is now signed by Ingvar Rönnbäck, Chair of the Board for Another Development Foundation and Natalia Ocampo Diaz, Co-founder of CEALDES September 15th and 17th, 2018. This is the agreement between the organisations:

Another Development Foundation and Centro de Alternativas al Desarollo (CEALDES), Bogotá, Colombia, have through a dialogue on September 2018 concluded that there are common areas of interest as well as potential for fruitful exchange and collaboration on various themes and projects. Through assistance from Sandra Segall, advisor to Another Development Foundation, currently working as an expert on gender at the Colombian Office of the High Commissioner for Peace an interest for a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Another Development Foundation and CEALDES has been expressed.

This MoU between Another Development Foundation, Sweden and CEALDES, Colombia expresses a convergence of will between the parties, indicating an intended common line of action.

The MoU expresses a will between the parties to take steps in this partnership, supporting each other being relevant, professional organizations with integrity in the work for local and global sustainability. The MoU also expresses a will between the parties being partners who support people, movements and organizations in Sweden, Latin America and elsewhere through different methods; analysis, facilitation, advise and counseling, supporting network development, new partnerships etc. Central areas of collaboration for both parties to explore and work on are:

  • Gatherings of like-minded people, movements and organizations on regular basis from especially Colombia and Latin America for the purpose of peer and strategical support
  • Collaboration in the international platform provided by Another Development Foundation, i.e. international meetings in Sweden where parties in the network support each other as peers
  • Collaboration on outreach, advocacy and development projects for peace, freedom from violence, social justice and inclusion, human rights, women´s rights, gender equality and sustainable development
  • Identify people and organizations who can participate in the activities and projects managed by the parties
