In this section we describe our achievements before the foundation was registred, as well as what we do through different methods and ways of working.

Dialogue on the Fight for Freedom in Belarus

During the event Littfest 2022 (the biggest event in Sweden for litterature) in The City of Umeå March 17th, a special session on the fight for freedom, democracy and human rights was organized by The East Group (Östgruppen). The dialogue was facilitated by Martin Uggla, chair of the board of The East Group. Manifestation for Peace – In solidarity with Ukraine, and with all others who are, or have been affected by war

March 19th 12.00-14.00, a manifestation for peace is organized in the city center in Umeå, Sweden. Another Development Foundation has worked together with 12 other organisations for this manifestation to happen. These organisations are; Rädda Barnen, Vän i Umeå, Folkuniversitetet, NBV, ABF, IM, Svenska Kyrkan, Pingstkyrkan, Studiefrämjandet, Azadi and Akut hjälp till Ukraina. Another Development Foundation Talk – The War in Ukraine- The Role of Social Movements for Peace and Human Rights

The invasion by Russia on Ukraine has caused a massive response, and outrage, throughout the world. Another Development Foundation Talk – A Reconnaissance at the Front Lines of Nonviolence Research

February 23rd 2022 ADF and other organisations invited students to an inspiring conversation about nonviolence research, where Stellan Vinthagen, the world's first professor of nonviolent resistance at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA, provided an overview of what happens at the front lines of nonviolence research. The Reality of Pornography – A Pilot Study

Another Development Foundation has, in cooperation with Unizon, Swedish Women’s Lobby, Talita and SNAF, been granted funding by Allmänna Arvsfonden (The Swedish Inheritance Fund) to conduct a six-month pilot study aimed at examining the conditions and need for a digital platform developed and run by young women with a focus on the harms of pornography.
